Mokky’s Pizza Sdn. Bhd. (“Mokky’s”, “we”, “us”) operates this careers and applicant management system. This policy explains what personal data we collect from job applicants, how we use it, and the rights you have under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). By submitting an application you consent to the handling of your data as described below.

1. Information we collect

• Identity and contact details — your name, email address, and mobile/WhatsApp phone number.
• Application materials — your résumé/CV, the role and branch you apply to, and any answers you provide in the application form.
• Recruitment activity — interview scheduling details, assessment notes, and your application’s status history.
• Communications — messages we exchange with you by email and WhatsApp regarding your application, including your replies.

2. How we use your data

• To assess your suitability for the role you applied for.
• To contact you with updates about your application — acknowledgement, shortlisting, interview scheduling, offers, and outcomes — via email and WhatsApp.
• To arrange and confirm interviews, and to respond to your enquiries.
• To keep your details on file so we may consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us not to.

3. WhatsApp and messaging

We send application-related notifications through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. When we message you on WhatsApp, or you reply to us, the content and your phone number are processed by Meta in order to deliver those messages, subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. We use these messages solely for recruitment communications relating to your application and do not use them for advertising.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us operate this system — for example, cloud hosting and database storage, our email delivery provider, and the WhatsApp Business Platform — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose data where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your application data for as long as necessary to manage your application and, where relevant, to consider you for future roles. You may ask us to delete it at any time, after which we will remove it unless we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA 2010 you have the right to access and correct your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to request that we stop processing or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
